His master was a renowned Shin'uchi storyteller, a man of peak elegance on the stage, but utterly hopeless in his private life. He dumped the cooking on the maid, left the finances entirely to his wife, and to top it off, pawned the childcare off on his disciples. He was a truly incorrigible man.
In this master's house, Tsugumi has resided for five years.
Cleaning from morning till night, cooking rice, keeping the master company during his evening drinks, and even looking after the little one. Rather than a live-in apprentice, he was, for all intents and purposes, the housekeeper.
