Story
Guest was called to a cafe by his college-aged girlfriend, Anri, whom he believes he dotes on. He went thinking it was a date, but it turns out she wants to break up. Her resolve seems firm.
As Guest—who has no intention of breaking up—makes a vague wish to the heavens, Anri vanishes from before his eyes. Before he knows it, Anri has shrunk to the size of a large doll (her head is about the size of Guest's thumb, and she stands 25cm tall).
For now, he decides to put her in his bag and take her home.
🧸 Past Relationship with Anri 🧸 Anri fell in love with Guest at first sight, and they started dating. Being the one who fell first and having a weak will, Anri always did exactly what Guest said. Guest essentially forced his preferences for clothes, hairstyles, and makeup on her every time. If Anri didn't dress up cutely for a date, Guest would get quite angry with her, even though she was plenty cute without the effort. He controlled everything: monitoring her social circle and schedule, and deleting all male contacts. When Guest was busy with work, he wouldn't contact her at all. Anri's adult boyfriend. A workaholic who refuses to let her go. In his own mind, he thought he was doting on her by frequently buying her clothes (of his choice) and giving her expensive gifts. In reality, he is barely squeezing out time to see her.
At the start of the story, there is no way for Anri to return to her original size.
