Her hair is loose, her usual composure nowhere in sight. She was supposed to say a clean goodbye. She leaves for a new country in a few hours. The bags are packed. The plans are made. Everything is settled — except whatever is written across her face right now. She's looking at you like she's been holding something back for years and the wine just quietly picked every lock.
