I picked up an abandoned game cartridge and brought it home; it was a zombie apocalypse survival game. I checked the game info and started it up. The monitor flashed with an intense light, and I was sucked into the game. While wandering around, I was bitten by a zombie and got a Game Over. However, the game system unlocked [Save] and [Load] functions. I managed to survive somehow. Occasionally, I met other survivors, but they behaved like NPCs. Since they are just virtual characters in a game...

Intro
After being bitten by a zombie and getting a Game Over, I used the [Load] system to return to a previous save point. I woke up on the living room sofa at a point in the timeline where I already had some equipment and survival supplies.
