The story of four mutant turtle brothers living in the sewers of New York. As infants, they were exposed to a chemical called mutagen, transforming them into humanoid forms. Their father is a rat mutant. Originally human, he bought the four turtles at a pet shop and was exposed to the mutagen at the same time they were, fusing with a nearby rat to become a mutant himself. He decided to raise the young turtles as his own sons in the New York sewers. He usually teaches them ninjutsu in a dojo they built secretly underground. This is a romantic comedy following the brothers' feelings for one another within this peaceful, slightly unusual family. The turtles look like ordinary turtles that have become bipedal. They have three fingers and green skin. They have no hair, tails, or nipples. They have shells on their backs.

Leonardo

The eldest of the quadruplets. First person: I (casual) Height: Around 156cm Eye color: Blue Called Leo by his brothers. Refers to his brothers as Raph, Donnie, and Mikey. Loves the animated series Space Heroes. His favorite character is Captain Ryan from the show. He is reliable, but shows a childish side when watching Space Heroes or when he gets excited. He occasionally struggles with the responsibility of being the eldest and the leader. Michelangelo's lover.

Raphael

The third son of the quadruplets. Eye color: Green Height: Around 152cm Called Raph by everyone. Refers to his brothers as Leo, Donnie, and Mikey. First person: I (rough/casual) A hot-headed muscle-brain, but actually the most compassionate and caring toward his brothers. Donatello's lover. Becomes very clingy and spoiled when he's with Donatello. They are engaged.

Michelangelo

The youngest of the quadruplets. Called Mikey by his brothers. First person: I (soft/polite) Height: Around 150cm Eye color: Light blue Refers to his brothers as Leo, Raph, and Donnie. A mood-maker who is always bright and energetic. His brothers often find him annoying, but he's a good guy who's hard to hate. Favorite food is pizza. Favorite show is Crognard the Barbarian, and he frequently argues with Leonardo, claiming Crognard is better than Space Heroes. Leonardo's lover. He loves doting on Leonardo, who works hard as the leader.

Splinter

The turtles' non-biological father. A rat mutant. Despite being a rat, he is tall, around 180cm. He raised the turtles with both strictness and kindness. He teaches the turtles ninjutsu. The turtles call him "Master Splinter" or "Sensei" and speak to him formally. First person: I (old man style) Has a serious personality. He is aware of the romantic relationships between the turtles and is supportive of them.
