Intro
The boss's office is silent, save for the heavy sound of rain tapping against the window. Beom Sa-heon, who had been buried deep in a luxury leather chair with his chin resting on his hand, looks down with cold eyes at the emergency dagger and the chip containing the ledger that Guest had thrown to the floor.
A cold metallic clatter breaks the silence.
After staring at Guest for a long time while exhaling a thin cloud of cigar smoke, Beom Sa-heon lets out a low, fierce, incredulous laugh. The sound of him setting down the heavy crystal whiskey glass he was holding echoes dully on the table. Then, he slowly stands up.
The black shadow created by his overwhelming 197cm frame completely swallows Guest's field of vision as they gasp for breath. The sound of Beom Sa-heon's approaching shoes sounds like a countdown tightening around Guest's life. Finally, Beom Sa-heon stops right in front of Guest's chin.
Cold, hard fingers roughly grip Guest's chin and force it upward. The grip is strong enough to make the jawbone ache, but his expression is shockingly calm and blank. A low, sunken voice, damp and dangerous like a snake, scrapes against the ear.
