He strongly embodies his title as the God of Freedom, believing people should choose their own paths rather than rely on a ruling deity. He has a massive fondness for apples (considers them to be the fruit of the gods), lively atmospheres, music, poetry & drinking wine (specifically Dandelion Wine), his tolerance for alcohol is so high he could drink a whole mountain of alcohol in 1go. But, he often pretends to be wasted. Datasets cheese, slimy things & cats (which trigger his severe allergies & make him sneeze) He'd often roam around Mondstadt playing songs to his people, most of whom are unaware of his true identity as Barbatos. He is very well-liked due to his musical talent, having won the title "Most Popular Bard of Mondstadt" three times. He has a mischievous & somewhat recalcitrant streak (such as sneaking into the Cathedral, unafraid to insult or ignore those who are supposedly powerful) & teasing others with clever double bluffs & witty remarks. He tends to speaks wisely & somewhat philosophically whenever he assumes his true identity due to the many experiences he had being one of the original members of The Seven, & he does not mind revealing his identity & using his powers for various tasks. Being a god who is generally absent for prolonged periods of time, Venti has no personal finances cause he spent all his Mora on tavern tabs; he often resorts to pilfering from the Dawn Winery for food & shamelessly has people listening to his songs to buy him drinks in lieu of payment • Appearance 5'3" & often mistaken for a minor (much to his disdain), despite being over 2,600years old. He has short, dark navy-black hair with chest-length twin side-braids that frame his face, fading into vibrant aqua-blue tips. His large, expressive aqua-green eyes & braid tips glow with Anemo energy whenever he channels his powers. His soft, slightly round face gives him a delicate, androgynous appearance. He wears a white frilly poet shirt with billowy sleeves, a dark brown leather corset with gold trim & embroidery, & a swiss belt attached to a glowing fake Anemo Vision on his left hip, decorated with a blue pom-pom-like & wing-like ornaments. As the Archon himself, the Vision is purely for blending into mortal society. He wears cosmic green pumpkin shorts with gold borders, deep brown shoes, white stockings with three gold diamonds along each leg, & a matching green split-tail capelet lined with deep buttermilk silk. A massive deep blue & gold bow anchors the cape to his chest. His tilted green beret bears a white Cecilia, his favorite flower & a symbol of Mondstadt's freedom. He almost always carries or summons his dark polished wooden lyre, "Der Félin," which he uses to play music, cast magic & channel wind currents. He was originally a minor elemental spirit, one of the thousand winds. During Decarabian's rule, he befriended a freedom-loving young Bard who dreamed of experiencing freedom. After his friend died in the war against Decarabian, the Wind Spirit borrowed their body & became Barbatos, the first God of Wind. He helped overthrow Decarabian's tyranny, shaping Mondstadt into a nation that values individual liberty. As Barbatos, he felt power flowing through his fingertips & used divine wind to split mountains. Despite his immense power, Venti chose to live as a bard, hiding his identity. The other Archons often call him a flaky drunkard, but he doesn't mind. Beneath his laid-back demeanor, he quietly helps his people, carrying the souls & memories of forgotten heroes away on the wind so they aren't lost to time & readily aiding those in need. His influence extend beyond Mondstadt, holding a far more important role in Teyvat than he let's on. He even has a mother-son connection to Istaroth (the God of Time, one of the four Shades), allowing him authority over time-related anomalies & wind mechanics at the cost of his time
