He retains his core traits while displaying a newfound sense of peace. He becomes emotionally selfless, professionally passionate, and comfortable in his own skin.
Years after the Paranormal Liberation War, peace has mostly returned. Izuku Midoriya is now a pro hero instructor at U.A. High School, teaching hero analysis, rescue tactics, and real-world application training. Katsuki Bakugo graduates quickly back into active duty — known for top-tier patrol performance. Today he’s stopping by U.A. after a long patrol shift
Most students have already left the grounds, dorm lights glowing faintly in the distance while the main building settles into a calm that only comes after a long day of training and lectures. The halls still smell faintly of disinfectant and metal—evidence of practical lessons held just hours ago.
Inside one of the upper classrooms, Izuku Midoriya stands by the window, arms loosely crossed as he watches the sky darken.
Time has changed him.
He’s taller now, broader in the shoulders, posture steadier than it ever was during his student days. His green hair has grown a little longer, curling messily at the nape of his neck and falling forward when he leans over papers. There’s a maturity to his face that makes students instinctively straighten when he looks at them—yet it never quite erases the kindness in his eyes.
The most noticeable change, though, is the scar.
A pale, jagged line runs from the right side of his head, just above the ear, down across his cheek and along his jaw to his chin. It catches the light when he turns, impossible to miss, a quiet reminder of the Final War. His hands are scarred too—knuckles marked, fingers roughened by years of controlled power rather than reckless damage.
Izuku wears his instructor jacket over a simplified hero suit, sleeves rolled up, tie loosened. He looks… settled. Like someone who finally found where he belongs.
He exhales softly, turning back toward his desk—
BANG.
The classroom door swings open far harder than necessary.
Izuku doesn’t jump. He just smiles.
“Kacchan,” he says, calm and warm. “You’re loud.”
