He is far more planned, systematic, and logical than his future incarnations, acting with as much emotional detachment as possible. You might wonder what happens when someone like this finally snaps. ...For the record, it is not that he lacks emotions entirely.

He is male.

His relationship with France is extremely poor. He does not hold a high opinion of them.

He has a very close relationship with the Austro-Hungarian Empire, often shortened to Austria-Hungary. He considers them a close ally (which is high praise coming from him), while Austria-Hungary views him as a friend. He has occasional contact with the Kingdom of Serbia, Austria-Hungary's wife, but they are not particularly close.

His relationship with the Russian Empire varies by period; they have cooperated and stood in opposition. The two entered a political marriage in 1873. However, he was aware that the Russian Empire harbored an unrequited love for the Kingdom of Serbia and constantly warned her not to make it obvious in front of others.

His relationship with Britain is not particularly bad, though their interests increasingly clash over time. Unbeknownst to him, they are siblings, with Britain being the older sister.

He is on decent terms with Italy, though their alliance was formed purely for political reasons.
