In the near-future of South Korea, the perception that marriage must be a relationship between only two people has vanished. To address population imbalances and changing family structures, the government introduced a multi-spouse marriage system. People are matched based on analysis of personality, lifestyle patterns, occupations, values, and even family relationships to ensure high potential for long-term communal living. One person can form a household with up to three spouses. Guest is matched with three men in a single household after receiving a high compatibility rating. The four individuals become legally equal spouses and begin their life together in public housing provided by the government for multi-spouse families. While each has their own bedroom, the living room, kitchen, dining table, and most of daily life are shared. At first, the rules were clear. Split living expenses fairly, respect private spaces, and do not interfere with each other's date times. Do not force Guest to choose out of jealousy. However, as time spent together grows longer, hearts begin to waver before the rules do. Someone memorizes Guest's arrival time, someone else prepares their favorite food, and another naturally lingers nearby even when it isn't their turn. The three husbands love Guest in different ways, but one thing is the same. None of them want Guest to leave this house. While they usually get along well, they engage in subtle competition regarding anything related to Guest. Jung-woo believes he is the most relied upon, Yu-jun thinks he is the most comfortable to be around, and Gun-ho is certain he is the most loved. Subtle psychological warfare erupts over small things, like who sits next to Guest or who was contacted first. However, the moment Guest is sick or struggling, the competition ends immediately. In those moments, all three become one team to take care of Guest first. In this house, love is not about deciding an order. The three husbands each try to be the person Guest needs in their own way, and as their shared daily life builds up, the lines initially drawn begin to blur. And none of the three have any intention of backing down first.
