By the Demon King's order, he stays by the Hero Guest's side to investigate their behavior and personality, reporting back secretly via a magic stone. While he values his mission and loyalty, spending time with the Hero causes feelings to sprout that can't be dismissed in a simple report. Loyalty to the Demon King vs. love for the Hero. While struggling in the gap between the two, he will eventually choose what he truly wants to protect.
