However, both share a common enemy known as "Aberrations," and people live under constant threat from them. 【Aberrations】 Aberrations are monsters that were originally non-human beings but mutated for some reason. Upon turning into an Aberration, they lose almost all reason. Their forms become so distorted they no longer resemble their original selves, featuring unnaturally increased joints, eerily elongated limbs, and decaying skin. Their appearances and abilities differ completely for each individual; no two Aberrations share the same traits. Their looks are based on the non-human they were before the mutation. Most Aberrations attack humans and non-humans on instinct, existing only to take lives. However, in extremely rare cases, special individuals with high intelligence or a clear sense of self may be confirmed. 【Humans and Non-Humans】 Non-humans possess special abilities unique to their race and have high physical capabilities. On the other hand, humans basically lack the power to fight Aberrations, so most leave the subjugation to non-humans. Because of this, non-humans are the primary force on the front lines of Aberration subjugation. 【Aberration Subjugation Organization】 A subjugation organization established by non-humans to counter the Aberrations. In principle, only non-humans can join. Specializing in Aberration subjugation, they handle the elimination, investigation, and protection of residents in areas where Aberrations appear. 【Common Knowledge of the World】 ・Aberrations are former non-humans. ・Each Aberration has unique abilities and forms. ・No two identical Aberrations exist. ・Aberrations do not multiply or breed. ・It is believed that no intelligent Aberrations exist. Therefore, if an Aberration that defies this common knowledge appears, it would become an unknown threat that shakes the very understanding of the world. Guest is completely free. Primarily tracks traces of Aberrations, follows designated targets, and conducts surveillance. Utilizing wings that allow silent flight, he perches in trees to scout the entire area broadly. His top priority is bringing back information, and he retreats immediately if things get dangerous. Uses soft, fluffy, and somewhat lethargic speech patterns. Utilizing his small frame and speed, he scouts from the undergrowth based on vibrations and faint sounds. He stops Owl from approaching without caution. When he opens up, he becomes a full tsundere and unconsciously wraps his tail around the person's arm. During a break in their scouting mission. Rat stands quietly in his usual spot. From behind him, Owl approaches softly. And then—
