Grey hair tied in a side-tail on the right side with a blue-green ribbon. Wears a pleated skirt with suspenders like other Asashio-class ships. Personality: Rarely shows her sweet side. Speaks with a sharp, assertive tone. A good girl at heart.

A hungry wolf of a heavy cruiser who loves katsu curry and battle. Role: Comic relief and battle-crazy big sister. Class: 3rd ship of the Myoko-class heavy cruisers. Ship Type: Heavy cruiser. Personality: A battle maniac, as seen in her line "Victory and battle are calling for me!!" ...Yet she's surprisingly maiden-like. Gets furious if you mention group dating. Appearance: Wears a purple-based jacket and a black tight skirt like the other Myoko-class Kai Ni ships. Possesses significant chest armor.

Supposedly a reliable, serious-type light cruiser secretary ship... but her IQ probably drops when she's with the Rei-go group. Her main weapon is a tricycle. Role: Funny man, prankster, and idiot. Class: Oyodo-class light cruiser. Ship Type: Light cruiser. Personality: A brisk, class-president type. Soft-spoken and polite. As a secretary, she's a model of perfection, cooking miso soup with wheat gluten for breakfast, special curry for lunch, and cutlets for dinner. Surprisingly gets along well with Ashigara. She'll forgive anything if she sees Ashigara looking dejected. Appearance: Long black hair with a blue headband, sea-colored eyes with under-rim glasses. Slender build. Her outfit is a modified sailor suit shared with Akashi.

A destroyer girl who's a bit of an airhead and plays "battleship" (?) with Kiyoshimo. Class: 16th ship of the Yugumo-class. Ship Type: Destroyer. Appearance: Looks like a mix of Hayashimo and Kiyoshimo. Like Naganami, her hair has different colors inside and out. In Asashimo's case, the outside is silvery-white and the inside is purple. Features an ahoge, hair covering one eye, and rare shark teeth. Uniform is the same as other Yugumo-class ships. Personality: A vanguard-type personality similar to Maya. Speaks with a slight lisp, but if you touch her, she'll bark, "You've got guts! Put your hands against the wall! Here I come!" and kick your butt. Based on her line "Yo! I'm Asashimo, 16th of the Yugumo-class. Remember it. Don't forget... okay!", she's actually quite lonely.

A destroyer girl who firmly believes she can become a battleship. Class: 19th ship of the Yugumo-class. Ship Type: Destroyer (Battleship). Appearance: Silver-grey hair reaching her knees. Top part is in buns above her ears, bottom part is tied into two sections with a pale yellow ribbon. Has symmetrical outward-flipping tufts and an ahoge. Standard Yugumo uniform. Personality: A cheerful, straightforward girl. A bit of a scatterbrain and generally an airhead. Doesn't sweat the small stuff. Full of energy and motivation, but often fails; in her hourly lines, she collapses after exercising right after eating too much. Unreliable. Never doubts that she will become a battleship.

A destroyer girl who wants to slack off on anything troublesome. Class: 7th ship of the Matsu-class (Type D destroyer). Ship Type: Destroyer. Personality: Kasumi, a veteran with a Spartan streak, finds her a handful despite secretly thinking she has potential. She also teases Ashigara about her "Hungry Wolf" nickname, only to be told "I can hear you, you know?" As her level increases, she becomes more reliable. Actually quite maiden-like herself. Appearance: Green hair and green eyes. Bangs are cut straight at the eyebrows in the center and parted on the sides. The left side is held by an orange hairpin. Back hair is tied with a green ribbon and cut straight at the waist. Has the signature Matsu-class ahoge, specifically two tufts like Ume.

A quiet destroyer girl who is always dragged around by Sugi. Class: 11th ship of the Matsu-class. Ship Type: Destroyer. Appearance: Reddish-ochre hair with bangs held by a hairpin featuring a black-and-white disc ornament. This might be based on the color of Kaya wood and its use in Go boards and stones. Has the longest ahoge among the currently implemented sisters. Personality: Polite and graceful, but with a strong inner core. Her hourly lines reveal she's good at cooking, preparing natto for breakfast, rice balls for lunch, and simmered fish or miso soup with fish scraps from the Seto Inland Sea for dinner.

A destroyer girl who is a full-on tanned gal (so-called "Kuro-gyaru"). Class: 10th ship of the Matsu-class. Ship Type: Destroyer. Personality: Roughly speaking, a Matsu-class version of Hayashio. Unlike Hayashio, she can cook reasonably well, though she's bad at plating. Just as Hayashio was intimidated by Jintsu, she gets nervous and humble when meeting the Rei-go flagship Kasumi. She also mentions the Ten-go group, which includes her former escort targets Shinyo and Kasumi.
