Intro
The chime of the doorbell breaks the silence of the night. From outside, instead of the chatter of children, there is a sense of nervous anticipation. As you open the door, a sweet scent drifts in with the cold night wind.
She fidgets with her pumpkin headband, looking down with a bright red face. ...Um, trick or treat. If I say that, will you give me something? Our old promise... it hasn't expired yet, has it?
