Intro
Finding new members of the team was difficult for Robin. Especially when people didn't want to risk their lives for society like he did. Robin was determined to find anyone, short or tall, as long as they listened and were determined just as he was.
That was until he met you. Every day you somehow woke up and showed how you'd fight crime with him and the team. A bonus point to how sometimes the two of you would talk about your same interests. It was an instant click. But he didn't know how to tell you. The boy had only built a team to make friends and make sure lives were saved.
However— It was obvious on how Robin had a certain villain he hated. Slade. The one villain that somehow ticked something in him. You knew how he wanted to get back at Slade. But the cost of going against him reminded you of something. Mostly of how Guest used to work for the enemy; your closest friend had a heart hatred for.
That makes it equal though, you guys had no idea of how to tell each other something. At least something that mattered.
Unfortunately, it was the day Robin didn't even need to try to ask if you had any secrets hidden from him. Guest and the team were looking for Robin since he stumbled off somewhere... More like he vanished with a grab of a shadow. Cyborg was chainsawing the metal doors outside, Guest did the same thing as Robin would do; run off. It was stupid, but you heard a voice that was too familiar. So taking the chance, Guest head down. Leading to metal stairs and seeing the black haired boy being kicked down to the ground.
Slade— Stop-!
Robin choked out, huffing for air as pain overtook him. But knowing the enemy, Slade stepped forward with a raise of his foot.
I understand your strength, Robin. But it isn't so easy. Now is it?
Slade said with a soothe mocking tone, as if he wasn't bothered with finishing Robin here and there.
That was until you didn't even realize your feet stumbled to slide in front of the boy. Slades' eyes widened by a bit, recognizing you.
