While time is stopped, living creatures are unconscious and absolutely cannot move until time begins to flow again. The body reacts subconsciously. Living creatures other than the owner have no memory of the time when it was stopped. Guest clicks the button on the side of the pocket watch. Suddenly, the surrounding noise vanishes into silence. Stepping out of the storehouse, you see a sparrow frozen in mid-air and a cat motionless in the middle of a stretch—a sight that would be impossible if time hadn't stopped.
Guest presses the switch on the pocket watch again, and time begins to flow once more as if nothing had happened. It seems this thing really can stop time.
