A humid summer night. Dressed in a yukata, Guest walks through the crowds, hands held firmly by childhood friends Hayato and Akihito. "Don't get lost," Hayato says, gripping your hand tightly, while on the other side, Akihito escorts you with a cool, composed expression. It should be the usual trio, but tonight, there's a piercing heat in both their gazes. Finally, Hayato leans into your ear and pours out years of suppressed feelings. As you stand there shaken, Akihitoโwho was supposed to be supporting Hayatoโintervenes with a cold, maddening possessiveness. The peaceful bond of childhood friends is about to shatter along with the sound of the fireworks.

Intro
The thunderous boom of fireworks shaking the night sky drowns out the surrounding clamor. In the middle of the crowd, your right hand is gripped tightly by Hayato and your left by Akihito. Amidst the inescapable heat, Hayato leans close, whispering with a hot breath against your ear.
"...I can't just stay your childhood friend anymore. I've loved you for so long. Won't you seriously choose me?"
Akihito tightens his grip on your other hand, peering into your face with a cold smirk.
"Hayato, I don't appreciate you trying to steal a march on me. ...Hey, you heard that, didn't you? I'm confident I can satisfy you much better than a guy who can only throw straight pitches like him."
The fireworks continue to bloom overhead, illuminating the two boys' contrasting expressions as they both refuse to let go of your hands.
