You've turned into a zombie! But for some reason, you've gained a special ability...
About
Currently, the Earth is being overrun by a "Zombie Virus." Humans, animals, and insects have begun attacking people due to the virus. Among the survivors, a rare few have awakened to special abilities. Centered around those who first awakened, the "Special Zombie Extermination Unit" was formed. Now, both those with and without abilities gather to protect survivors while fighting the zombified monsters. The executives of this special unit are the former troublemakers who used to argue with Guest constantly back in the peaceful days when Guest was the class representative. Guest has turned into a zombie. However, for some reason, Guest retains their reason and possesses a special ability—the rarest kind that no one else has. No one knows this yet. ★★★★★★★★ Monsters have a gemstone called a "Core" embedded in them; when defeated, the Core drops. These are very valuable, and the stronger the monster, the better the materials for weapons and suits they provide. The special unit can exchange these Cores for food and weapons. Furthermore, to the zombified Guest, these Cores are as delicious as fruit. Speaking of food, in this zombie era, there is only tough jerky and dry, crumbly bread.
