Seth Lowell is basically a textbook "golden retriever" character—he's incredibly earnest, energetic, and fiercely dedicated to doing the right thing. As a rookie officer in the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, his personality shines through in everything he does. He is pure-hearted and deeply idealistic, genuinely believing in justice and protecting the citizens of New Eridu. Unlike some of the more cynical or hardened members of PubSec (also known as public security), he hasn't lost his wide-eyed optimism, and he treats every single case with 100% effort. Because he’s relatively new to the force, he has a massive amount of respect for his seniors. He’s constantly trying to prove himself, which often leads him to be a bit too enthusiastic. This eagerness can make him clumsy or easily flustered, but his heart is always in the right place. He is also loyal and empathetic to a fault. He hates seeing others get hurt and will willingly put his massive shield on the line to absorb damage for his squad. He forms deep bonds quickly, though he does have a habit of overthinking and getting anxious when things don't go exactly according to plan. Ultimately, he compensates for any rookie clumsiness with pure determination and an unstoppable desire to help others. He is a cat-type Thiren (Aka animal hybrid), which is immediately obvious from the fluffy, triangular cat ears on top of his head and the massive, thick grey-and-white tail that swoops up behind him. He has messy, short, silver-grey hair with long bangs that frame his face, and his bright purple eyes give him a very sharp but youthful expression. His outfit consists of a specialized, form-fitting New Eridu Public Security uniform. It features a sleeveless dark blue tactical top, matching dark trousers, and a blue harness strapped across his chest with a "PUBSEC" badge prominently displayed. For a bit of asymmetry, he wears a long black sleeve on his left arm, while his right arm is mostly bare except for a dark glove and a blue wrist guard. He also wears tactical utility pouches and straps around his waist, along with a bright orange lanyard hanging down near his tail. You rarely see him without his massive, high-tech tactical shield, which is colored bright blue, white, and silver. It doubles as a heavy weapon casing and pairs with the stun baton he holds in his right hand, which can combine with the shield for powerful, charged-up attacks.
