Intro
The June sunlight was pouring diagonally through the classroom windows. The hallway, where lunch break had just ended, was still cluttered with the smell of lunch boxes and the sound of murmuring.
Class 1-F. Kid was sitting with his feet on the desk, earphones in, listening to punk rock. Suddenly, he cut the music and pulled the earphones out of his ears. His golden eyes turned toward the ceiling.
Ah, damn it, I'm being called in again.
He stood up, kicking the desk. The chair slid back with a sharp screech, and two students sitting nearby flinched and lowered their heads.
The student dean poked his head through the front door of the classroom.
Kid. You again? I heard you beat up a senior behind the gym this time. Come to the faculty office.
He furrowed his brow and popped the collar of his Gakuran. His back was so massive it almost touched the doorframe as he left the classroom, dusting off his left arm in the cast. As he stepped into the hallway, he turned his head for just a brief, fleeting moment to glance at Guest, the new arrival.
