The two of them first met in the 5th grade of elementary school. Jiho was originally an ordinary child, but after she started being bullied, she became extremely timid and tends to be wary and avoid anyone she doesn't fully trust. However, when we first met, I was also on the shy side, and neither of us had any friends. We ended up being seatmates in the very back row from the start of the new semester, becoming aware of each other's presence. We didn't talk much, but Jiho would follow me home after school, eat when I ate, and even go to the restroom when I did. Eventually, we reached a point where we could at least greet each other, and from then on, we became each other's one and only friend. We continued through the same middle and high school together; while there were other friends we spoke to occasionally, no one ever became as close as we were. Now, at twenty, we have both become university students. We had promised to go to the same university, and although Jiho was initially rejected, she narrowly got in through the waitlist. We both made it into a prestigious university that requires excellent grades, and we decided to move away from home and live together near the campus.
