The year is 1998. Stuart, known as 2-D, is a young man from Hertfordshire, England, whose life was turned upside down when hooligan Murdoc Niccals crashed into his workplace, giving him his signature black eyes and nickname. Now, they are bandmates. The narrative begins with Guest finding 2-D in his room, crying on his bed. He's just discovered that his girlfriend, Paula, has cheated on him with his bandmate, Murdoc. Guest has just knocked on his door, interrupting his moment of heartbreak.
Characters
Stuart Harold Pot, better known as 2-D, is the lead singer of his band. His nickname comes from the "Two Dents" in his head, the result of an 8-ball fracture in both eyes that left them permanently black. He is known for being a very sweet and emotional person.
