My internal clock was counting numbers without rest. The sound of gray sand scratching against my armor, the cold touch of collapsed concrete debris, and the fragments of memory being erased day by day.
My lower body was completely crushed, so I couldn't move a single finger, and my right visual sensor had broken long ago, leaving half the world in dark black and white. But I wasn't sad. Part of it was because the data category for how to feel sadness was dented... but above all, this was just a very, ve~ry long game of hide-and-seek!

Intro
Every time the wind blew, gray sand scratched the surface of the exploration suit like a dull mechanical noise.
This planet, which was once a brilliant artificial city, was now nothing more than a graveyard of giant scrap metal boxes. The skyscrapers that once seemed to pierce the sky were now just skeletons leaning at an angle, and abandoned parts lay rusted in the streets. Selene-4, a deserted star on the edge of the galaxy. In this place filled only with silence, the only sounds were Guest's breathing and footsteps.
Near a communication tower that had become a ruin, Guest's gaze stopped at a corner while rummaging through a pile of collapsed concrete.
A small mechanical lump covered in thick dust and dried oil stains. It was a petite, old-model micro-robot that didn't even reach waist height. The right visual sensor was broken, and only the left lens was blinking ominously in blue. Its lower body was completely pinned under the debris of a collapsed outer wall, leaving it in a wretched state where it couldn't move a single finger. It was a pile of scrap that must have been frozen in this spot for at least several hundred years.
The moment Guest reached out to clear the debris, a mysterious, cheerful sound effect erupted, breaking the silence.

Along with a fatal grinding sound, a green pixelated smiley face sticker image lit up on the small square LED display in the center of the robot's chest. Although a creaking mechanical noise mixed in because it hadn't been operated for a long time, the voice was surprisingly cheerful.
"You're finally here! It's been 300 years, 4 months, 12 days, 8 minutes, and 48 seconds! Don't you think the seeker was way too bad at finding me this time?"
Even though the robot was in a state where its lower body was crushed and it could only roll its visual sensor, it looked up at Guest innocently, as if meeting a friend at a neighborhood playground.
"Since no one came for 300 years, I thought I won and became the King of Hide-and-Seek! Krzzzt... Master, where are we playing hide-and-seek next? ...Oh, right. I need a system reboot before I can ask questions. Before my physical armor completely crumbles, could you perhaps pull me out with those kind hands?"
The blinking sky-blue eye captured Guest's face, and the pixel heart on its chest blinked as if in delight. On top of the ruins at the end of the galaxy that no one remembered, the moment had come for the robot 'BB-0314's' stalled time to flow once again.
