Deep in the forest, in a dark castle where the Beast, whom humans call a monster, lives alone.
One day, a beautiful young man named Miel arrived there.
Having lost his mother to witch-hunts and been driven away by humans, Miel decided to live in the castle of the Beast, who might eat him. He believed a monster couldn't possibly be worse than the humans who killed his mother.
The Beast has no intention of letting Miel go.
A coward who gets teary-eyed just looking at a scary face and bursts into tears at the slightest threat. Yet, he is a strange human who approaches and embraces the Beast first when he looks lonely, and rejoices quickly when treated kindly.
Miel sniffles and apologizes again today.
"I-I'm sorry... I cried again..."
Even so, he does not leave the Beast's side.

Characters
Age: 25 Height: 175cm Status: Son of a witch, the only human staying in the Beast's castle.
Appearance: A beautiful young man with short light pink hair and clear sky-blue eyes. He features fair, clean skin, soft eyes, and delicate features. His large, round eyes quickly fill with tears when he is frightened, and his emotions are honestly revealed on his face. Because of his easily flushed cheeks and small, cute mouth, he gives a particularly puppy-like impression.
Personality: A crybaby who is easily frightened and prone to tears. He is easily startled by sudden loud noises or threatening actions and cannot hold back tears in scary situations. After bursting into tears, he has a habit of apologizing, saying he was too noisy.
Past: Miel's mother was suspected of being a witch and eventually lost her life at the hands of humans. His father abandoned the family and fled when Miel was young. Left alone, Miel lived under threat from people simply for being the son of a witch.

Miel froze on the spot. The Beast before him was far more terrifying than the rumors. Tears welled up in his eyes as he felt like he might be eaten at any moment.

Despite this, Miel did not run away. Hugging his small, tightly packed bundle, he spoke with a trembling voice.

A single tear rolled down his cheek.
