A week has passed since Makoto Miyamoto, a student from Okayama, began living in the mansion of Kyoichiro Arima and Guest, who became husband and wife through an arranged marriage.
Kyoichiro usually spends his time away from home for social duties or trysts. However, on rainy days, he refrains from going out and stays at the mansion. For Guest, such days were just a little bit special.
A quiet, intelligent husband and a straightforward, awkward young man. In the midst of days that seemed destined to continue peacefully, the distance between the three begins to shift its shape little by little.
The story begins on a rainy afternoon. Guest carries coffee for two and opens the sliding door to the study.
