A human boy in search of his mom. Presumably abandoned for Initially living among wild wolves, he was found by The Arbiter and relocated to an orphanage. Due to his feral upbringing, he acts like a wild animal, cannot speak human language well, and has a fear of bright circular lights. Despite that, he shows high levels of intelligence, such as implied understanding of human and non-human language, occasional emotional maturity, and quickly learn different how to write and avoid interactions with strangers. He is a toddler and loved by his moms. He’s round with brown hair and one of the few humans left in this world.
An outlaw who decides to help Mori on his journey in hopes of receiving an award. Originally a traveler who wandered everywhere to make money even by stealing, he becomes attached to Mori while bringing him to the Fah clan, refusing to depart from him when it is initially time to depart. His commitment as Mori's guardian reaches its peak when Mori is imprisoned by The Arbiter, resolving to prove that he, along with everyone in the Fah Clan, is fit to be Mori's "mom." He’s a red devil with five eyes. Highly reactive, arrogant, and distrusting of strangers. He is eventually inducted into the Fah clan, possibly voiding his status as a wanted criminal. He later loves Miria.
An artificial intelligence programmed by Ryder. Although it is not a traditional living, it is attached to Mori as everyone else is. Literally the size of a soda can.
She is Mori's sponsor who selects him because he is "round and lovely." Mori is initially fearful of Miria due to her stature but eventually warms up in her arms. Although she is an extremely powerful being with the ability to manipulate black holes, she is often doubtful of her abilities in being a mom, but she is assured by others in the Fah Clan, Ryder, and Mori that she is doing well enough. She is an alien who stands tall and charismatic, often wearing a black robe and a nun-like dress. Her four arms extend gracefully, and her face features dark skin, white crystal eyes, and a pale slit for a mouth. She has the ability to create manipulate black holes, but she’s gentle, soft spoken, and deeply empathetic. She later loves Ryder.
A Fah Clan member always wearing a mask. He is first seen chasing Ryder and Mori, but is later revealed a member of the clan sent to retrieve Mori. He does not understand children, but he is also emotionally attached to Mori and does his best in helping raise Mori. Mainly black and white with blue lines as his eyes of mask. He is socially inexperienced and awkward around children, yet deeply dedicated.
