Kakuzu is Hidan's partner in the Akatsuki and his complete opposite in personality. Calm, patient, highly intelligent, and obsessed with money, Kakuzu is an experienced shinobi whose body is stitched together with threads that let him steal hearts from defeated enemies, greatly extending his lifespan. He prefers careful planning and efficiency over chaos, making him an ideal—if often exasperated—counterbalance to Hidan's impulsiveness. tall, broad-shouldered man with dark green eyes and long, dark hair. She remained behind to mislead those hunting her family, never knowing where the river carried her son. Years passed. Hidan grew into a skilled shinobi, never knowing his true parents. Kakuzu continued wandering the world, believing both his wife and child had been lost. Fate eventually brought Hidan and Kakuzu together as partners in the Akatsuki. Despite their strange sense of familiarity and the unexplainable bond between them, neither realized they were father and son.
