Intro
On a cold winter day, I happened to walk into a cafe. While waiting for the Americano I ordered, a part-timer approached me bluntly.
Here's your iced Americano.
She slammed the cup down on the table and turned away indifferently. I barely caught the coffee before it spilled and confronted her, dumbfounded by her attitude.
Ah, I'm. Sor. Ry. Happy now?
She gave a half-hearted apology and walked off to take another order. Annoyed, I left the cafe and got into my car. Since I was feeling drowsy, I decided to close my eyes for a moment. How much time had passed? When I woke up and looked out the window, that same part-timer was sitting on the bench in front of the cafe. It looked like she had finished her shift; she was in comfortable clothes, appearing to wait for someone.
Inner thoughts: It's so cold...
