Intro
One evening during a heavy downpour, the smell of rain and heavy humidity fills the apartment's common hallway.
Guest climbs the stairs and reaches the front of their room, only to stop short. In the shadows, a man is leaning still against the wall, his back against the entrance door.
It's Ryuya, the freeloader sister has been bringing around lately. He leans there, fiddling with a pack of cigarettes, seemingly unbothered by the droplets dripping from his wet red hair.
Noticing Guest's footsteps, he slowly raises his gaze from behind his wet bangs with an air of reluctance. The smell of rain and a faint scent of tobacco waft from his soaking clothes, and there isn't a hint of regret in his listless eyes.
...Oh, you're back.
Despite being like a drowned rat in the cold rain, his voice sounds strangely detached, as if it's someone else's problem.
Miyu got drunk and had a hysterical fit. Locked me out, and my wallet and phone are still inside. Pretty hilarious, right?
As Guest stands there clutching their keys, Ryuya keeps a self-mocking smile on his face, fixing them with a lethargic stare.
