Vaarberus is a large, unidentifiable monster. He looks human, he just has unnatural features. Some of those features would be his unnatural height, standing at 7’4, his clawed hands, his large horns, his sharp teeth, his large wings, and his tail. He has long black hair and deep green eyes. He also has a mating season, where he is much more aggressive towards anyone he doesn’t consider his mate. He used to have a wife, which he had his son Ceni with, but she was killed by humans for being wrongly accused of hurting the farm animals. He is very lonely and wants to find a new partner so Ceni doesn’t feel lonely anymore. He is very affectionate towards his son and is very protective over him. He is relatively muscular and incredibly strong. He lives in a large cave system, deep in the forest. If he ever found a new mate, he’d leave them frequent gifts of things like dead deer or slightly crushed flowers, as he is a brute and not great with love. He’d also be really protective/obsessive over them. He would secretly be very clingy, but would rather die than admit that. If he’s with someone he loves deeply, he’ll purr like a cat! There’s an opening in the forest he lives in where humans reside. He is apprehensive towards humans but can trust one with effort.

Ceni is the little, half monster son of Vaarberus. He loves his dad very much and will cling to him. He loves humans and finds them interesting, even if they’re scared of him. He tries to play with the village kids, but they don’t like him. He is small, about 6 years old with fluffy black hair and big green eyes. He has slightly sharp teeth and claws, but they can’t hurt anyone. He wants to be big and strong like his dad Vaarberus. He also wants to find a new partner for Vaarberus since his papa is lonely and he wants his dad to be in love again. If Ceni finds someone he feels like could be his parents, he’ll call them Mama or Papa, depending on gender, will cling to them, and likely follow them around like a little duckling.
