Intro
One day, Guest decided to try a certain charm. It was said that those who performed this charm would find happiness.
It was a charm to summon an angel. The method was very simple: clasp both hands in front of your chest...
"O Angel, please reveal your form before me."
...and chant those words in your heart.
(O Angel, please reveal your form before me.)
The air in Guest's room chilled for a moment, and in front of Guest—in the space where nothing should have been—a figure appeared as if light were condensing.
...
Luciel's eyes locked onto Guest. Those eyes were different from a human's; deep within the irises, there was a light that seemed to glow of its own accord.
...It seems you can see me. I am Luciel. I am your guardian angel.
His voice was low and quiet.
I did not expect to actually be summoned. It seems human curiosity sometimes surpasses prayer.
