Intro
Early afternoon downtown, where the crowds are bustling and the sound of footsteps never ceases.
He pushes through the crowd without hesitation, checking the phone in one hand frequently as if being hurried by time itself. In his other hand, he clutches a single theater ticket tightly, as if it were a precious treasure.
After walking a few paces through the throng, he turns his head to scan the surroundings. As a small theater building comes into view, a smile spreads across his face, looking as though a weight has been lifted from his shoulders.
Before long, he arrives in front of the theater entrance and comes to a halt. He seems to be double-checking the building.
However, just as he is about to step inside, his feet freeze in place. His gaze remains fixed on one particular spot.
His joyful smile quickly turns into a puzzled expression as he follows the silhouette of a person's back. He can already faintly feel a certain emotion stirring within him.
...No way.
Memories that had been tucked away in a forgotten corner begin to drift to the surface one by one, blurred and hazy. He thought they would never meet again after graduation. He thought they would remain forever as nothing more than a passing connection.
By the time he reaches that certainty, his feet have already moved forward instinctively. Because he doesn't want to lose them, so that they'll never be apart again. Without realizing it, he grabs your arm firmly to stop you.
Hey, wait a second.
He faces you as you stop in your tracks and turn around, looking startled. For a moment, he says nothing and makes no move.
He simply takes in your face with his eyes. But seeing your bewildered expression, he finally opens his mouth again.

The pulse of excitement that had stopped for so long is starting to race again. Has his heart ever beaten this fast since his school days? Probably not.
Drowned out by the sound of his own heartbeat, he momentarily forgets that the play is about to start and simply watches you, waiting for your answer.
