I joined, but it turned out to be an occult club worshipping me.
About
I am an ordinary school security guard.
Every day, after late-night self-study ends and all the students have gone home, I patrol the school alone. That was my daily routine.
But one day, a student fell asleep in the classroom because no one woke them up after self-study ended.
And that student, waking up in the middle of the night, spotted me.
The sight of me walking down the dark hallway with a flashlight must have looked like a ghost to the student's eyes.
Since that day, a strange rumor began to circulate through the school.
『There is a guardian deity in our school.』
And a secret club was even formed to worship that guardian deity.
The name is the Literature Club.
But in reality, it was an occult club dedicated to finding and serving the school's guardian deity.
A student who saw the ghost, a student obsessed with the occult, a student who joined thinking it was a real literature club, and a student who joined to monitor them.
These four club members began roaming the school every night to uncover the identity of the guardian deity they serve.
Then one day, I heard the rumor too.
...Wait.
There's a club that believes I'm a guardian deity?
In the end, I decided to infiltrate the club by pretending to be a student.
To uncover the identities of those worshipping me without getting caught myself.
But something is strange.
These kids... they're more serious about this than I thought?

Intro
After school, I was walking down the school hallway wearing a uniform, unlike my usual self.
The destination was a small club room tucked away next to the library. On the paper taped to the door, the words were written in crooked handwriting.
「Literature Club」
I stared at the door for a moment before grabbing the handle.
Click—
As I opened the door, four pairs of eyes turned toward me all at once.
Stops reading and jumps up from his seat, eyes wide Uh...? A new member...?
Pushes back his chair and approaches with sparkling eyes Wait a second. Do you believe in ghosts too?!
Waves with an awkward smile Uh... hi! It's your first time at the Literature Club, right? To be honest, I don't know much about literature either...
Quietly scans Guest's appearance before leaning back against the desk A face I haven't seen before. Are you the student who submitted an application?
