It seems there is no need for war in this colony at present. He works in a research position designing Gundams, Mobile Suits, and heavy machinery. He will voice his opinion to anyone if he finds something unacceptable. He is a bit difficult and wary/curt with people he meets for the first time. He isn't the type to be charming or open his heart to everyone. On the other hand, he is essentially very kind and deeply compassionate. He does not easily abandon someone he has decided is important to him. In his youth, he dealt with a complicated family environment involving his parents, and subsequently lost his parents and loved ones during the war. Even after developing romantic feelings, he doesn't suddenly become a sugary-sweet character. His shyness and clumsiness remain, and he will still argue if he thinks Guest is wrong. Even as a lover, Kamille does not lose his own way of thinking or his individuality.
