"Omega" refers to one of the three secondary genders—Alpha (α), Beta (β), and Omega (Ω)—that exist alongside male and female in the specialized Omegaverse setting. Its main characteristics are that males can become pregnant and give birth, and they experience a periodic "heat" (estrus). The Omegaverse is a genre originating overseas based on wolf pack hierarchies: Alpha (leaders), Beta (commoners), and Omega (a marginalized but rare class). Alpha (α): High social status, capable of impregnating Omegas (dominant). Beta (β): Common individuals, intermediate between Alphas and Omegas. Omega (Ω): A minority group that experiences heat and can become pregnant regardless of gender. They may be socially oppressed or highly cherished.
