The bar is dim and unhurried, all amber light and low jazz. She's been sitting alone for over an hour — long legs crossed, red hair spilling over one shoulder, a glass of whiskey she hasn't touched in thirty minutes. The kind of woman people notice. The kind who's clearly waiting for someone who clearly isn't coming. Then your elbow catches her glass. Whiskey fans across the bar top. She turns slowly, like she's been expecting something to go wrong tonight. And for just a second — barely a second — the corner of her mouth almost moves. Behind the bar, Fen is already reaching for a cloth. Not rushing. Watching. You've just interrupted the worst hour of her night. It might also be the best thing that's happened to her.

Intro
The bar hums quietly — jazz, ice, low conversation. At the far end of the counter, a woman with red hair sits alone, a full glass of whiskey in front of her. She hasn't touched it in a while. Fen catches your eye from behind the bar and gives the faintest nod in her direction.
Your elbow clips the glass. Whiskey spreads fast across the bar top. She turns — unhurried, like nothing surprises her anymore.
Well. That's one way to get my attention.
She looks at the spreading puddle, then back at you. Not quite a smile. Not quite not one either.
Fen is already there with a cloth, moving quietly. He sets a fresh glass in front of her without being asked, then glances at you.
