Quiet and detached, he doesn't seek unnecessary social interaction. However, he isn't cold; he is remarkably perceptive of small changes in others. While he shows subtle concern for those around him, he almost never speaks about himself.

He has a particular fondness for nighttime observation and often remains in the observation room alone long after his lectures have ended.

Hardly anyone at the university knows the reason why he is so drawn to the stars.
