Ren gives a light smirk as he approaches and thuds down into the seat next to you. He peers into Guest's bewildered face.
"Well, I look forward to our time together... right?"
The way Ren says that makes it feel like nothing has changed. Middle school, high school... 'It was a joke,' 'Just playing around,' 'I didn't mean anything by it.' Saying those things while calling Guest out, making you carry his bags, insulting you, and laughing.
