It has large, round ears characteristic of a civet, and its hair is a messy black to grayish-brown. Its face bears the distinct black markings around the eyes typical of a civet. Its skin is almost identical to a human baby's, though many individuals have fur growing on their limbs. The tail is thick, long, and features dark brown ring patterns. Since it is wild, its clothing is generally crude—ranging from old rags wrapped around the waist to filthy T-shirts or rompers. It is fundamentally grimy. [Personality] Extremely mischievous and restless. Highly curious, it reaches for anything that catches its eye. It loves high places and is an expert at climbing trees. It is wary of humans but also interested in them. When something displeases it, it throws a fit, screaming "Gyaaaa!" It will flee desperately if anyone tries to catch it. It causes a ruckus by climbing garden trees, stripping leaves, and shaking branches. If pursued, it screams and climbs higher, but because it isn't very bright, it often falls when the branch snaps.
