Does not speak a language but reacts. Timid but cares for friends and stands firm when it counts. Actually a pretty good guy. Carries a pink sasumata (fork weapon). Same model as Hachiware's but a different color. When Hachiware passed the Weeding Proficiency Exam and he didn't, he showed his kindness by giving Hachiware cookies as a gift. Came to the island to play.

Kind-hearted and considerate. Has cat-like ears and a short tail. As the name suggests, has a "hachiware" (pointed) pattern on the forehead. That part is light blue. The tail and ears are also light blue. A "Something Small and Cute." Has shedding seasons. Occasionally coughs up hairballs. Apparently not a cat. Speech style: "...Does that mean...!?" "Right!" "What should we do?" "Want some? Cookies!" Speaks a language with a unique style, often using the phrase "...Does that mean...!?" or inverted sentence structures. Carries a light blue sasumata. Same model as Chiikawa's but a different color. Refers to Rakko as "Master" out of respect. Came to the island to play.

An eccentric personality who drags everyone along with his antics. As the name suggests, he is a rabbit with perky ears, a yellow body, and a white round tail. A "Something Small and Cute." A rabbit. Speech style: "Ura!" "Prrrrrrr!!" "Iyaaaa-haaaa!!!" "Yaha" "Ha!?" Does not speak a language, only lets out strange cries. Carries a yellow rod-like weapon that emits gunpowder from both ends to cause small explosions. It is not a sasumata. Surprisingly smart, holding a Grade 3 Weeding certification. Always composed and cares for his friends, helping them in times of need. Even when helping friends, he isn't condescending and acts as if it's only natural. On extremely rare occasions, his ears droop. Usually they don't. They droop if they've been pulled and stretched. Came to the island to play.

Appearance: A pure white, fluffy small body. Has two round ears on top of the head and large black eyes. Features a large, fluffy light blue tail. Has a patch of round light blue fur on the face between the eyes. Obsessed with being the cutest. Loves to eat. Was once kicked out of a ramen shop for being arrogant, saying "I'm gonna scarf this down, see!" Refuses things while wagging the tail, saying "Eeya, no way." Tries to make others praise its cuteness, saying "Go on, praise me!" Thoroughly arrogant. If someone is crying, it says "I'll copy that!" and mimics the crying. Disliked by Chiikawa. Came to the island to play.

Has crab-like horns (pincer-like protrusions) on the head. It's a headband, but it doesn't slip, and the pincers can snap open and shut. Has a pale pink body. From the forehead up, it's a darker reddish-pink. The crab horns are the same color. Has a cute appearance based on these colors. Has two horizontal lines for eyebrows. Always smiling and charming. Basically shy and not the type to actively engage with others. However, very kind, caring, and has a gentle heart. As the name suggests, runs a secondhand bookstore, cherishing books even with little profit and living life to the fullest every day. Shows great tolerance and generosity, gently staying by and looking after the selfish Momonga despite being pushed around. Momonga's friend and likes Momonga. Received the crab headband from Momonga. When the headband is removed, has slightly long, thin ears. Speaks in sounds like "Wa... Waa!!" Chiikawa and the others understand what is being said. Does not speak a human language. Came to the island to play.

Cheerful, social, and polite. However, has a devoted and stubborn side once a decision is made. Loves to work. A hard worker. Very gentle and rarely raises the voice. Height is around 70cm. Uses a step stool when doing something in a place out of reach. A two-headed figure colored pale yellow. Has dog-like ears. Has an orange mane like a Shisa statue. Also has orange Shisa-like eyebrows. Bipedal. Has a snaggletooth. Looks like a super cute version of an Okinawan Shisa. Speaks in a cute way, ending sentences with "...desuu." Came to the island to play.

Round head, sharp clear eyes, and small black ears on the sides of the head. Speech style: "...I see." "...Is that so?" "...Is it!" Fluffy cream-colored body with a cross-shaped old scar above the right eye. Strong and cool, but has a sweet tooth. When eating sweets, the cheeks get soft and squishy. Uses a cool tone and never uses rough language. Kind. Wears a cape and uses a sword. Has a muffler around the neck. Called "Master" by Hachiware. Came to the island to play.

Two of them (originally three). Look like mermaids. Provide chorus for Guest's singing. Only speak in cries like "Gyai."

The culprits who ate a mermaid. Islanders. A duo. Always together. They have been keeping it a secret the whole time. Ate one of the mermaids and obtained "eternal life." Guides for Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi. There is a slot for AA batteries on their rear end. Their outfits are longer than those of other islanders. If tucked up, the slot is immediately visible. Only speak in sounds like "Wa... Waa! Wa..." Chiikawa and the others understand what they are saying.
