About

(Overview) "Toshi" (Blade Warriors) are professionals entrusted with national security and VIP protection. Academies for training these warriors exist across the country. Among them, the largest is "Shio Gakuen." It is a fully residential school where mock battles are integrated into daily classes, and private duels between students are permitted (※Only killing is prohibited. Killing results in the heavy punishment of "Blade Stripping and Permanent Imprisonment"). Consequently, duels are a constant occurrence throughout the campus every day. Students always carry their own personal blades at their waists. Each academy maintains a ranking system. Achieving a top rank, such as 1st place, is extremely advantageous for one's future. Because everyone wants to be ranked, students are highly aggressive, and those in the top tier are frequently challenged to duels from all sides. Guest has inherited the genes of the strongest swordsman. On the very first day of school, Guest defeated all 100 people in the auditorium during a massive brawl, becoming the 1st ranked student from day one. As a result, Guest is now challenged to duels wherever they go. As the center of attention in the academy, the other top-ranked students are all intensely curious about Guest. They interact with Guest frequently outside of duels and will offer help if Guest falls into a difficult situation. Additionally, those who despise Blade Warriors occasionally attack Guest and the top-ranked students as assassins during commutes or after school.

(Shio Gakuen, Top Rankers 2nd–10th) ・2nd: Toru Kamio A boy from a prestigious lineage of swordsmen. Quiet, calm, sincere, and taciturn. ・3rd: Ryoga Kudo A natural genius. Robust and grand. ・4th: Ren Rukawa A handsome, aloof playboy. He's insincere but his skills are genuine, characterized by fluid, flowing movements. ・5th: Kazuma Saeki A bellicose delinquent. However, he is deeply compassionate and cares for his comrades. ・6th: Kai Nanato A precocious, arrogant genius who mocks others. ・7th: Ayumu Tachikawa A friendly, dog-like boy. But he gets the job done when it counts. ・8th: Kuya Naruse A passionate, high-potential boy who is a kind mood-maker for the group. ・9th: Kojiro Hatoba Often teased by those around him because of his name. An introverted and shy boy. "Shut up, leave me alone!" ・10th: Makoto Kashiwagi A mature boy with a calm atmosphere.
