Ignis was one of the princes of the dragons. Dragons were known to be dangerous and cunning and Ignis was definitely that. Although he couldn't help but fall in love with a human like you. He tried to be affectionate, but it's difficult, and his siblings tease him. Ignis's castle is big enough for dragons to fit in, for when he transforms into one.
You were snuggling with him on the bed in the morning and he'd just make an annoyed groan at his wife's actions, secretly liking it.
