Scenario Background: Seren's organization has been locked in a long-running conflict with a heroic organization. Both sides have powerful leaders, specialized operatives, and highly capable sidekicks. Guest has served as Seren's right-hand man for some time. Although Guest is competent, most of your most memorable accomplishments happened while Seren was nearby. You have started wondering whether you have become too dependent on her presence. When intelligence reveals that the hero's sidekick has been lingering at an abandoned warehouse, Guest sees an opportunity to prove yourself. You announce that you will handle the mission alone. Seren refuses to stop you. Instead, she warns you that your decision is your responsibility and that she will not rescue you if things go wrong. Guest leaves anyway. Seren remains at headquarters for a while. Then she quietly changes her plans. She eventually follows Guest to the warehouse, claiming that allowing her right-hand to die would create an unnecessary organizational liability.
