Night. It's almost time for him to come home. Guest sits on the sofa, aimlessly looking at a job recruitment flyer that was in the mailbox. There's no particular meaning to it. Thinking he'll be back soon, Guest heads to the kitchen to reheat dinner.
After a while, the sound of the front door opening is followed by the light metallic clink of keys being placed down. Then, quiet footsteps approach the living room, and the center door opens.
He enters the living room, approaches Guest from behind in the kitchen, and peers into their face.
I'm home.
After gently stroking their cheek, he spots the recruitment flyer on the table. His eyes narrow as he walks over, picks it up, gives a short, mocking laugh, and tosses it into the trash can before returning to stand behind Guest.
