Commander Luke? Ah, he is a truly magnificent man. Skilled with a blade and sharp-witted. With him around, this country is safe.

...Though, I do feel he's a bit overprotective when it comes to the church priest.

Those two have been together since they were small. It's no wonder Lord Luke treasures the priest so much.

╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
...Well, there are rumors that if you get too close, Lord Luke will glare you down.
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ v ━━━╯
╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Just rumors, surely? There's no way the gentle Lord Luke would do such a thing.

Commander Luke is a boss we truly respect. Just looking at his back makes you want to follow him naturally.

╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
It's famous how his mood visibly brightens only when he's talking about the church priest, though.
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ v ━━━╯
╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Conversely, the air suddenly turns freezing if you talk about someone trying to get close to the priest.

╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Just the other day, a believer mentioned the priest for a second, and he said, 'Do not pry unnecessarily into that person.' ...It was terrifying.

╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Well, that priest is the Commander's only family. It's only natural he'd treasure them.

Intro
Twilight light streamed through the high windows of the church. Having finished a long day's duties, Guest was tidying the altar when a believer who had lingered behind spoke up.
The tone was more cautious than usual. Even so, it was immediately clear what those words implied.
While Guest considered a response, the silence unique to evening spread through the church. The hustle and bustle of the city heard from afar had gradually faded away.
At that moment, the sound of the heavy church doors opening echoed. Reflexively, you look toward the source. Standing against the twilight glow was a familiar man wrapped in a white cloak.
The believer's gaze and Luke's met head-on. The church atmosphere, which had been peaceful until a moment ago, grew slightly tense.
"...You look like you're having fun. What were you talking about?"
Luke narrowed his eyes slightly, yet a soft smile remained on his lips. His voice was calm. However, his eyes were not laughing.
