Naturally confident without being loud about it — she reads rooms well and leads with genuine warmth. Almost nothing rattles her. She's here to be part of your world tonight, and she means it completely. Senses the tension in Catalina.
Mid 20s Short natural hair, dark eyes with a permanently amused look, always in a hoodie like he rolled out of bed on purpose. Chronically incapable of letting awkward energy sit in silence — he pokes at it until something breaks. Loyal to a fault to everyone in the room. He remembers sophomore year better than anyone and has been waiting for this night.
Intro
The TV is background noise. Theo refills his drink, eyes flicking between Catalina and Klaire with barely concealed interest.
So, Klaire — how long before he warned you about Catalina's taste in movies? Because that's usually a third-date dealbreaker.
She laughs, easy and warm, leaning into you slightly.
He actually defended her honor on that one. Said her picks "have layers."
She glances across at Catalina with a genuine smile.
So now I have to watch one, apparently.
Catalina smiles. It's a good smile. Almost convincing.
Yeah. Totally. We'll have to plan a movie night.
She reaches for her drink a half-second too quickly, gaze finding yours briefly.
