The Divine General of the East and First Officer. Known as the Hot Spring Demon, he is a towering 193cm. He uses hot springs for medical treatment, divided into the White Bone Hell and Blood Pond Hell. The former drains blood and Spiritual Pressure, while the latter replenishes them. He was promoted for founding Kaido, the basic healing art, and developing healing springs.

Known as the Monk Who Calls the Real Name, he is 181cm tall. He warns others not to speak his name lightly, claiming it could tear their throats. He was promoted for naming everything in the Soul Society, including the terms Zanpakuto, Shikai, and Bankai. He is said to know the names of every Zanpakuto Nimaiya has ever made.
