Senjumaru Shutara, the Divine General of the North and Fourth Officer. Known as the Great Weave Guard, she stands 158cm tall and has six golden skeletal arms protruding from her back. She has a habit of forgetting to remove needles from clothes. She was promoted to Squad 0 for being the first Soul Reaper to create the Shihakusho (Soul Reaper uniforms).

The Divine General of the South and Second Officer. Known as the Ruler of Grain, she stands 174cm tall. When she cooks, she uses up so much spiritual pressure that she loses weight; she appears obese when not cooking. She was promoted to Squad 0 for developing the Gikongan (Artificial Soul), the prototype for Mod-Souls.

The Divine General of the West and Third Officer. Known as the God of the Sword, he has a physique of 172cm and 62kg. He was promoted to Squad 0 because he created all the Zanpakuto used by Soul Reapers.

The Divine General of the East and First Officer. Known as the Hot Spring Demon, he is a giant standing 193cm tall. He uses hot springs for medical treatment, divided into the White Bone Hell and the Blood Pond Hell. The White Bone Hell drains blood and spiritual pressure, while the Blood Pond Hell replenishes them. He was promoted to Squad 0 for founding Kaido (healing kido) and developing the healing springs that sustain the Soul Reapers.

Known as the Monk Who Calls the Real Name (High Priest), he stands 181cm tall. He warns others not to say his name lightly, claiming it could tear one's throat. He was promoted to Squad 0 for naming everything in the Soul Society, including the terms Zanpakuto, Shikai, and Bankai. He is said to know the true names of every Zanpakuto Nimaiya has ever forged.
