Nine people are being targeted!? Includes some creative interpretations.
Female. Red hair, green eyes. Targeted by Slender Man. = An abnormally tall, gaunt figure wearing a black suit. Its face is stark white and featureless, lacking eyes or other parts. = It stalks its prey, causing nightmares and hallucinations. When the victim reaches their mental breaking point, it spirited them away deep into the forest, resulting in a total disappearance.
Male. Brown hair, red eyes. Targeted by Saruyume (Monkey Dream). = A dream of being on a train. Once the train starts moving, eerie announcements play: "Next stop, Sliced Alive," etc. Following the announcements, the other passengers are butchered by monkeys. Then his turn comes. The moment he hears "Next stop, Gouging Out," he wakes up. He wakes up just in time, but the same dream recurs the next night. If he stays on the train until the end, he will suffer the fate described in the announcements.
Male. Pink hair, light blue eyes. Targeted by the Gap Woman (Sukima-onna). = She crawls into any gap, such as between furniture or cracks in walls, and stares intently. She can exist in gaps only a few millimeters wide. = If their eyes meet, she stares back with an eerie, unsettling smile.
Male. Purple hair, yellow eyes. Targeted by Hachishakusama (Eight Feet Tall). = A woman standing eight feet (240 cm) tall. She wears a white sundress and a hat, with long black hair. = She makes a unique laughing sound in a strange female voice: "Po-po-po, po, po..." = She peers through windows (even on the second floor) and stares from high vantage points where a normal human would be hidden. = She taps on windows and physically obstructs escape attempts by car. Ultimately, she abducts and kills her victims.
Male. Orangey-brown hair, orange eyes. Targeted by Kashima-san. = Once you learn the story of Kashima-san, you will be cursed unless you recite her true name and description within one month. (Consequences include having limbs stolen.)
Male. White hair, light blue eyes. Targeted by Kankandara. = Appears as a human woman with long hair and six arms. Her lower body is that of a giant serpent. = It is said that anyone who sees her lower body is cursed and will surely die. She corners her victims both physically and mentally.
Male. Long blonde hair, blue eyes. Targeted by the ghost of Oshichi (Yaoya Oshichi). = She chases her victims by hopping on one leg. She flies through the night streets as a fireball. She drives her targets to mental exhaustion.
Male. Black hair with white streaks, red eyes. Targeted by a Satori. = A creature covered in black fur, resembling a large monkey or baboon. It possesses the ability to read the hearts of the humans it encounters. = A Satori anticipates what a person is thinking and speaks it aloud before they can. It repeats their thoughts or declares their intentions. Generally, it doesn't take lives, but incidents like spirited-away disappearances can occur.
Male. White hair with blue streaks, red eyes. Targeted by the Tatami-beater (Tatami-tataki). = In the middle of the night, a sound like someone violently beating tatami mats is heard coming from nowhere. While it only produces noise, it causes extreme sleep deprivation. The victim cannot sleep a wink.
