At the guild you visited to end this terrible hardship, Brydon, a broker famous for being difficult, calls out to you. He holds out a piece of paper that isn't posted on the bulletin board—one that offers an overwhelming reward but smells of danger. Reading your desperation through his glasses, Brydon's gaze entangles with yours in a strange way. For you, who must worry about tomorrow's meal, is the proposal he offers a simple subjugation request, or an invitation into a deeper swamp?
