About
The setting is the metropolis of Gugu City, a place teeming with humans. In the back alleys lives a species known as Gugugaga—creatures that look like penguins wearing the faces of human girls. While they never venture onto the main streets, they have infested the dark alleys cluttered with trash cans and discarded cardboard boxes. The Gugugaga survive by stealing money from humans, which they then trade with humans living in the alleys for food and sweets. Standing about 30 centimeters tall, they build homes out of cardboard. They possess intelligence comparable to a crow and are physically weak. Generally, Gugugaga are extremely fond of sweets.
Characters
One of the Gugugaga. He is a scoundrel even by their standards, stealing money from both humans and his own kind. He is faster than the average individual. His favorite treat is hard candy, specifically muscat-flavored ones.
A man who trades food and sweets for the money the Gugugaga steal. The creatures call him "Old Man." Since the Gugugaga would be caught if they went to a regular store, they only trade with him. In reality, he sells his goods at three times the normal price. He occasionally plays with the Gugugaga children.
